Paddy Keenan, member of Bothy Band, was awarded Gradam Ceoil TG4 in 2002 for Musician of the Year. Tommy O' Sullivan of Sliabh Notes is an accomplished vocalist as well as guitar player. Recorded in The Ferryman Pub, Dublin in 2005.

Paddy Keenan - Official Site. Founding member of the legendary Bothy Band, and one of the greatest living exponents of the uilleann pipes today. At 17, Paddy left Ireland for England. Before moving on to busk in the rest of Europe, he spent some time singing and playing guitar around the tube stations of London. Returning to Ireland after a few years, he played on and off with The Pavees in Dublin.

Paddy Keenan (. 950) is an Irish player of the uilleann pipes. Keenan was born in Trim, County Meath. His father and grandfather were both uilleann pipers, and his father, Johnny Keenan, spent many nights playing along with piper Johnny Doran. He began playing at the age of nine, and at the age of fourteen he played at the Gaiety Theatre, Dublin.
