Music video by Bob Seger performing I Knew You When.
I Knew You When is the eighteenth studio album by American rock singer-songwriter Bob Seger. It was released on November 17, 2017. The album was recorded in Nashville and Detroit and produced by Seger himself.
The arrival of "I Knew You When" marks a relatively quick turnaround for Seger, coming just three years after his album "Ride Ou. The record is dedicated to late Eagles co-founder Glenn Frey, a longtime Seger friend and onetime collaborator on the Detroit rock scene. I Knew You When (Deluxe). Exclusive Prime pricing. I Knew You When (Deluxe). Bob has done it again!!! I think this album is actually a bit better than Ride Out and we love that one! If you're a Seger fan you don't want to miss this one! Fantastic!!!
Such imbalance makes I Knew You When a bit incoherent, yet in its quietest and angriest moments, it offers some of the best music Seger has made in the 21st century. 60. When Seger sticks to growling out his lyrics over jagged riffs and a relentless beat, as he does on the driving Runaway Train and the synth-driven The Highway, he proves that craft can be rewarding in its own right, and that he still excels at creating emotional investment in something as tried and true as barreling, locomotive rock.

Turn the Page (Bob Seger song). Turn the Page" is a song originally released by Bob Seger in 1973 on his Back in '72 album. Though never released as a single, Seger's live version of the song on the 1976 Live Bullet album became a mainstay of album-oriented rock radio stations, and still gets significant airplay to this day on classic rock stations.
Seger later clarified: "The only thing that bothered me about that phrase was the grammar It reached in Canada and on Billboard's Adult Contemporary Tracks chart. Greg from Harrington Park, NjEvery time I hear this song it reminds me of college - I knew the song since I was younger in the late 80's but by the mid 90's when it appeared in Forrest Gump and subsequently in the soundtrack as well, I started listening to Seger more and more.
