Al Dimiola, Steve Winwood, Michael Shrieve & co, deliver one awesome performance here. Done back in 77 this cd should not be overlooked. Not sure go look them up on YT. Stunning musicianship all around & a fine recording. Well worth looking into & having. Al 's guitar work is super hot,Steve's vocals are crisp as is his keyboards, ex Santana drummer Mike Shrieve is as good as can be, & Stomu Yamashta & Klaus Shultz throw in some amazing percussion & synth work. Go Live From Paris" is a rather obscure recording and is a hard to find classic. It is worth the effort as this is a must have for any fans of Progressive Rock. The All Star cast includes Steve Winwood, Michael Shrieve, and Al DiMeola. Shrieves' drumming is incredible being so intricate and precise. DiMeola lays down some awesome guitar solos that will blow you away.

After Stevie Winwood’s stint at nineteen with the Spencer Davis Group, then with Traffic, Blind Faith and sessions on Hendrix’ epic Electric Ladyland, he joined with drummer Michael Shrieve of Santana and percussionist, composer Stomu Yamashta to form the core of their international supergroup: GO. Jazz/Rock guitar icon Al Di Meola provided soaring guitar and former Tangerine Dream member Klaus Schulze created surreal symphonic synths.

In terms of sheer intensity, it is hard to beat DiMeola's searing leads and Winwood's blue-eyed soul on the driving "Ghost Machine," easily topping its former incarnation.

Michael Shrieve - drums. Al Di Meola - lead guitar. Jerome Rimson - bass. Brother James - congas. Retrieved 30 June 2013. Go was founded by Stomu Yamashta, Steve Winwood and Michael Shrieve. For this album, Jess Roden replaced Steve Winwood (who had left the group). The style of the music became modified accordingly. In addition, Linda Lewis was hired as a singer. Together with Paul Jackson, Jr. and the orchestra of Martyn Ford the album unified various soundscapes.
