Radio Active is a music album released by the Pat Travers on Polydor Records in 1981. Radio Active was Pat Travers' first release after the highly successful Crash and Burn. However, Pat Thrall and Tommy Aldridge had already left the band. Travers and Cowling forged on with former Blackjack drummer Sandy Gennaro, but the album barely made it into the Top 40.

Released for the first time on CD, this 1982 album by Pat Travers finds the Canadian rock singer/guitarist in fine form. For hard-rock fans unfamiliar with Travers, BLACK PEARL is an excellent place to start exploring his often-overlooked catalogue.

Pat Travers-Black Pearl Song list: I La La La Love You I'd Rather See You Dead Stand Up Who'll Take The Fall The Fifth Misty Morning Can't Stop The Heartache Amgwanna Kick Booty Rockin'. Pat Travers, 1980-1984 out put was a mixed bag, baffling many of us long time PT fans who loved & lived by his masterworks of the 70's.

Pat Travers was discovered by the legendary Ronnie Hawkins. Mr. Hawkins was known for his work in his band the Hawks. Pat Travers album Crash and Burn was the highest charting album of Pat Traver’s career. The great song Crash and Burn, starts out with a great flanged bass line that always reminded me of the opening bass line to Sonny and Cher’s The Beat Goes On.
