Iron Maiden - Brave New World (2000).
The discography of Icelandic singer-songwriter Björk consists of nine studio albums, two soundtrack albums, one compilation albums, six remix albums, seven live albums, four box sets, two collaboration albums, thirty-nine singles, six promotional singles and seven remixes series. Björk started her career after a recording of her rendition of Tina Charles' 1976 song "I Love to Love" became notorious on Icelandic radio.
Utopia is the ninth studio album by Icelandic singer-musician Björk. It was primarily produced by Björk and Venezuelan electronic record producer Arca, and released on 24 November 2017 through One Little Indian Records. The album received critical acclaim from music critics for its production, songwriting and Björk’s vocals, and later received a nomination for Best Alternative Music Album at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards, becoming Björk’s eighth nomination in the category.
Album Selmasongs: Music from the Motion Picture ‘Dancer in the Dark’. Train-whistles, a sweet clementine Blueberries, dancers in line Cobwebs, a bakery sign. Oh - a sweet clementine Oh - dancers in line Oh. If living is seeing I'm holding my breath In wonder - I wonder What happens next? A new world, a new day to see See, see. I'm softly walking on air Halfway to heaven from here Sunlight unfolds in my hair.
New World (оригинал Björk). Новый мир (перевод Oleg из Ярославля). Train-whistles, a sweet clementine. A new world, a new day to see, see, see. Новый мир, новый день увижу я, увижу, увижу. I'm softly walking on air.
What comes after heartbreak? For Björk, it’s a love letter to enthusiasm and optimism, she said. Björk’s darkly formidable 2015 album, Vulnicura, reflected the breakup of her decade-long relationship with the artist Matthew Barney in songs of nearly paralyzing pain and simmering anger, weighted with dissonant, dramatic strings. But her new album, Utopia, prizes airiness: the breath that powers voices and flutes; the atmosphere where birds fly; structures and tempos that change freely rather than being locked to a beat.
Brave New World (Iron Maiden album). Brave New World is the twelfth studio album by English heavy metal band Iron Maiden, released on 29 May 2000. It was their first studio release since the return of longtime lead singer Bruce Dickinson (who left in 1993) and guitarist Adrian Smith (who left in 1990) in 1999, as well as the band's first studio recording as a six-piece, as Janick Gers, who replaced Smith in 1990, remained with the band.
By contrast, Björk’s new album feels lighter than air. Even in its unfinished form, it feels like the weight of Vulnicura has been lifted, the elegiac string arrangements replaced by flutes and woodwind instruments, the compositions punctuated by the sound of birdsong and the natural world. There are still moments of harshness, of course
The mysterious new album follows up 2015's Vulnicura, as well as the artist's songbook 34 Scores for Piano, Organ, Harpsichord and Celeste from earlier this year. Check out Björk's note announcing the new LP below.
