Last in Line is an American heavy metal band formed in 2012 by former members of the original lineup of Dio. The band's name comes from the 1984 Dio album The Last in Line. Following the death of Dio frontman Ronnie James Dio in 2010, the original lineup of drummer Vinny Appice, bassist Jimmy Bain, guitarist Vivian Campbell, and keyboardist Claude Schnell reunited along with vocalist Andrew Freeman to perform the Dio songs they originally recorded.
LAST IN LINE will release its sophomore album, "II", on February 22, 2019 via Frontiers Music Srl. As with 2016's "Heavy Crown", the new disc was produced by DOKKEN and FOREIGNER bassist Jeff Pilson. The official music video for the album first single, "Landslide", can be seen below. In late 2017, the band gathered in Los Angeles to start the recording of the second album, which was produced by the band members and Jeff Pilson (FOREIGNER, DOKKEN), who also helmed the debut album. Having really jelled as a band while touring in support of the first disc, the songwriting came readily to the members. Phil is a more intricate player than Jimmy was and that, together with the natural growth and development of the band led us to the songs on the album. As always, we simply started to jam on ideas and see where they led us.

Phil Keaggy (born March 23, 1951) is a Christian guitarist, songwriter, and singer. Raised in a small farmhouse in Hubbard, Ohio with nine brothers and sisters, Keaggy began playing guitar at age ten on a Sears Silvertone guitar, despite missing half of the middle finger on his right hand due to an accident at age 4 involving a water pump. He is frequently listed as one of the top fingerstyle guitarists by Guitar Player Magazine readers' polls, but he is equally at home on electric guitar.
At one point, Phil Collins was best known as Genesis' drummer and singer, but, as the following list of Phil Collins Albums Ranked Worst to Best shows, that was before he became a huge solo star. For seven years beginning in the early '80s, Collins racked up seven No. 1 solo singles in the . plus three more in the . Collins wouldn't launch a solo career until more than a decade after joining Genesis, and about five years after he succeeded Peter Gabriel as he group's frontman. He left Genesis in 1996, then completed his discography – so far, anyway – with an album that became his first-ever not to reach the . Top 5 (2002's Testify) and another that represented his lowest-ever . chart finish (2010's Going Back, which reached only No. 34). A lingering back problem then sent Collins into retirement for a while, and there hasn't been another album since then. But how do they all stack up?
Phil Collins recently told the press that he's writing new songs and contemplating a return to the road, possibly with Genesis. He was the hardest-working man of the 1980s, but with the exception of the Genesis reunion tour of 2007, he's largely been retired for the past decade. I think he got himself into a bit of a hole and that's great news he's coming out of it," Peter Gabriel recently told Rolling Stone. It doesn't have to involve work, but if it does, that's a great indicator. Phil Collins is the first to admit that he wasn't a very good husband and father in the 1970s. Genesis released an album almost every year and they toured heavily behind every one of them. During the few breaks, Phil Collins toured with the jazz fusion band Brand X. It couldn't have been a huge shock when his wife left him, but the pain was nearly unbearable; she took both kids and even the dogs.
