Wall of Hits is a compilation album by the British rock band Slade. It was released on 11 November 1991 and reached No. 34 in the UK charts. The album was issued by Polydor and included the last two singles to be recorded by the band: "Radio Wall of Sound" and "Universe". After the commercial failure of the band's 1987 album You Boyz Make Big Noize, and the end of their contract with RCA, Slade decided to take an eighteen month break.

After a falling out with Storm Thorgerson and Hipgnosis, The Wall now features another designer, Gerald Scarfe, who did the distinctive font of the album title and the twisted figures of the related artwork. The Wall " Track Info.

On disc two, the gentle acoustic phrasings of "Is There Anybody Out There?" and the lilting orchestrations of "Nobody Home" reinforce Floyd's feeling of isolation. When his record company uses drugs to coax him to perform ("Comfortably Numb"), his onstage persona is transformed into a homophobic, race-baiting fascist ("In the Flesh"). Hits such as Crosscut Saw and Laundromat Blues earned King a new rock & roll audience.

P ink Floyd’s the Wall is one of the most intriguing and imaginative albums in the history of rock music. Since the studio album’s release in 1979, the tour of 1980-81, and the subsequent movie of 1982, the Wall has become synonymous with, if not the very definition of, the term concept album

The album was crafted from a relatively spartan setup-a pair of clarinets, two basses, one cello, a piano, and a tape delay-which makes it feel simple and human. Songs like Reflector and Postcard From Brilliant Orange are ambiguous, cavernously spaced, and emotional. Tomorrow Was the Golden Age surrounds the listener during moments of wandering and sticks to the walls of daily experience, coloring moments with its bittersweet spirit. Cooper offers abstract hanging gardens of dark, lush drone, as yet unadorned by revolving strings or sighing woodwinds. Pure trails and tones hover in space, twisting around and through one another, mist on mist.
