What was really a nice surprise was that the rest of the songs were terrific, too. The bulk of these songs were written by the team of Mike Post and Pete Carpenter, the duo who wrote the theme to TGAH and other memorable TV shows. not the least of which was the great theme to The Rockford Files. To say these guys can write a catchy, irrestistible song would be understatement

Joey Scarbury (born June 7, 1955) is an adult contemporary singer who had a massive hit song, "Theme From Greatest American Hero (Believe It or Not)," in 1981. Although he had a minor chart single with "Mixed Up Guy" in 1971, real chart success eluded him for the rest of the decade. This was to change when he started working for producer and composer Mike Post.
