Explorers Club was a progressive metal/rock supergroup headed by the Gardner brothers of Magellan featuring, among others, James LaBrie, John Petrucci of Dream Theater, and Derek Sherinian (then Dream Theater), D. C. Cooper (Royal Hunt), drummer Terry Bozzio, Billy Sheehan (bassist of UFO, Mr. Big and Steve Vai fame) and James Murphy (from the metal scene).
