Klaus Schulze recorded this masterpiece in 81, just before the advent of the digital age. This disc still holds merit in the new millennium, some 20 years later. With metallic textures and cold timbres, Schulze has constructed a massive soundscape with no holes. His subtle atmospheres play well against his deep sequences. This is essential Schulze. It will appeal to fans of Ron Boots, Craig Padilla, Rudy Adrian and Paul Ellis.

Trancefer is an enjoyable experimental, perhaps even transitional, album that leaves me at last expecting even better things from Schulze in the future.

This album has an average beat per minute of BPM (slowest/fastest tempos:, BPM). 1. A Few Minutes After Trancefer.

On Trancefer, Klaus Schulze has come to grips with his new digital equipment and realizes equally mesmerizing atmospheres as he had created on X, only this time it's done entirely digital. The most surprising element would be the length of the album. While a normal Schulze album rarely clocks off under 60 minutes, this one is with its 3. 0 minutes almost as short as a your average Tangerine Dream platter. A Few Minutes After Trancefer is a dominantly non-melodic and very percussive track. It is very rhythmical and creates a great ambience
