Battlefield Band have been at the forefront of the resurgence of Scottish music and song. Since the 1970s they have pioneered a great diversity of instruments, ancient and modern as an integral part of the sound.

In the Garden of Venus is the sixth studio album by German duo Modern Talking. It was released on 30 November 1987 by Hansa Records. Due to lack of promotion, the album failed to match the commercial success of the duo's previous releases.
