Justin Timberlake's official audio for 'Not A Bad Thing' .

The first thing that came to mind when I read the title of this poem was Plato’s allegory of the cave (Republic, Book VII) in which people are prisoners in an underground den, viewing shadows on the wall, believing those shadows are reality, and unable to turn around to discover the truth. In the same manner, we humans here on earth can see only forms and not the thing itself. What I find most interesting in this poem are the places where Plato and Stevens seem to intersect, and the places where they clearly diverge. The poem is very time-specific

The last thing Harry saw before the hat dropped over his eyes was the hall full of people craning to get a good look at him. Next second he was looking at the black inside of the hat. He waited. Plenty of courage, I see. Not a bad mind either. He could see the High Table properly now. At the end nearest him sat Hagrid, who caught his eye and gave him the thumbs up. Harry grinned back. And there, in the center of the High Table, in a large gold chair, sat Albus Dumbledore. Harry recognized him at once from the card he'd gotten out of the Chocolate Frog on the train. Dumbledore's silver hair was the only thing in the whole hall that shone as brightly as the ghosts. Harry spotted Professor Quirtell, too, the nervous young man from the Leaky Cauldron.

The album was a recording of an Elvis Presley concert that contained almost no actual music, and instead consisted mainly of banter and jokes between numbers, compiled in an incomprehensible manner  . We put it on in the office to remind ourselves how bad it was. Sometimes these things are redeemed by some sort of kitsch or novelty value, but it didn't even have that. It's not funny for even a split second and not even the sort of thing that you would put on for a laugh if you were drunk. Ken Scott, the engineer of the album, also thought "it turned out pretty badly. The band considered it commercial suicide

The funniest thing about this is that, in all the videos, pictures and stories of it, you never see the dozen or more police officers off to the sides of this march (mostly male) or the numerous boyfriends, beta friendzonee’s, male faculty and sneaky bastards looking to get some walking along to the side to protect these ‘strong’ girls. All this isn’t a bad thing, and the sooner we as a society acknowledge this unchanging fact of life, the sooner we can start fixing the other crap that’s wrong with us. Women are vulnerable and inside (not even deep down inside either, just under the surface inside) they want to be vulnerable. And most men want them to be as well. If rolling her eyes doesn’t fix the problem, it’s passed to the nearest man. More men are raped every year than women. When I decided that, I was initially shocked at the statistics, which indicated the opposite: that I was wrong.

i take back every bad thing ive ever said about blizzard he's so wide but its fine bc he's here!!! overwatch maximilien. Those are the questions we should be asking not just saying things like there’s a ‘x’ bad thing in this work. Of course yes, we can have a conversation about the necessity of having a number of ‘x’ bad things but again that’s an issue of framing. Having ‘x’ bad things in a work isn’t inherently bad and I’m going to need a little more than just this work contains it to wholeheartedly condemn a work.

a bad thing to fall in love with me, me. Now how about I’d be the last voice you hear at night? And every other night for the rest of the nights that there are Every morning I just wanna see you staring back at me 'Cause I know that’s a good place to start

So don't act like it's a bad thing to fall in love with me 'Cause you might fuck around to find your dreams come true, with me 'Cause you might look around to find your dreams come true, with me Spent all your time and your money just to find out that
