The Enid - Anarchy On 45 - Complete Singles Collection download album

I was very disappointed with this album when it was issued because many of the tracks were the perfected album versions rather than the original versions found on the singles (. ., . ). The biggest disappointment, however, was that the entirety of disc 2 (the b-sides) appeared to be in monophonic sound.

While the first part focuses on the a-sides, the latter focuses on the obscure tracks on the b-sides. It's obvious which ones are the stronger ones and vice versa. It isn't essential, but is worth a listen. Grimsby October 5th 13. Give Your Opinion on Anarchy on 45: Complete Singles Collection. Staff & Contributors // Site Forum // Contact us. Bands:.

Art of Anarchy is the first studio album by American rock band Art of Anarchy, released on June 2, 2015. It is the band's only album to feature vocalist Scott Weiland, who distanced himself from the project soon after its release. This was also Weiland's final album before his death on December 3, 2015. On March 19, 2015 it was announced that the new album to be released on June 2, 2015 would be self-titled, and the first single will be "‘Til The Dust Is Gone".

THE ENID released ANARCHY ON 45, in 1996. So here we have a highly interesting collection of singles and ‘b’ sides and there are some very unusual choices here including Heigh Ho and When You Wish Upon A Star both made popular by Disney films, the latter working the best and considering the only other rock version of this song I have heard was a bit more sinister by none other. than Gene Simmons of Kiss from his solo album, The Enid’s version is quite a treat to hear! The cover of The Small Faces Itchycoo Park is Ok but the overbearing 80’s production dates the song.

Notes

CD notes:
The original masters for a few of these releases were destroyed in the fire at Claret Hall Farm in 1988 and we have had to take tracks from vinyl or tape copies. In these cases the reproduction is not as good as we would have liked.

The title in parentheses for track 1.3 is the original title - Dambusters March is not named on the cover artwork or the disc. The bracketed titles to tracks 2.4 and 2.5 are later album titles to the respective pieces.

Several tracks mastered from poor-condition vinyl. Tracks 2.4 & 2.5 are actually the later album versions (the titles in parentheses), not the original b-side recordings.

track 1-1: 1984 version from In The Region Of The Summer Stars
track 1-2: “Bollocks!” remixed version originally released as Golden Earrings
track 1-3: Previously unreleased live version (see below)
track 1-4: From Fool
track 1-5: From 665 The Great Bean
track 1-6: From When You Wish Upon A Star
track 1-7: From Heigh Ho
track 1-8: From CD Remix From Something Wicked This Way Comes
track 1-9: From Itchycoo Park
track 1-10: Full-length version from the 12” and CD single Salome
track 1-11: By Come September not the “Half An Hour In The Jungle” version

track 2-1: 1984 version from In The Region Of The Summer Stars
track 2-2: From: Golden Earrings
track 2-3: From Dambusters March / Land Of Hope & Glory
track 2-4: “Evensong” from Something Wicked This Way Comes
track 2-5: “Song For Europe” from Something Wicked This Way Comes
track 2-6: From Something Wicked This Way Comes
track 2-7: CD Remix From Something Wicked This Way Comes
track 2-8: From And Then There Were None
track 2-9: Full-length revised version From Salome (single used original version, edited on 7”)
track 2-10: From Salome
track 2-11: By Come September not the “Half An Hour In The Jungle” version.

Track 1-3 “Dambusters March/Land Of Hope & Glory” is possibly the version recorded at The Band On The Wall, Manchester on 24, 25 or 26 October 1983 and omitted from the 1984 Stand LP.
Track 1-10 & 2-10 by Enid.
Track 1-11 & 2-11 by Come September .
Many of these tracks (*) are not the versions that appeared on the original singles, also “When You Wish Upon A Star” was taken from a very scratched copy of the vinyl single. Some of these defects were corrected on the 2007 Japanese card cover reissue.

I was very disappointed with this album when it was issued because many of the tracks were the perfected album versions rather than the original versions found on the singles (e.g. 1.1, 1.3, 1.8, 2.1, 2.4, 2.5, 2.6). The biggest disappointment, however, was that the entirety of disc 2 (the b-sides) appeared to be in monophonic sound. It took me a while to spot this and I would be interested to hear if anyone else spotted this.PS I have just picked up another copy of the CD and I can inform you that track 1.4 "Fool" and 1.9 "Itchycoo Park" both have glitches where there has been data loss. In "Fool" this occurs at about 35" and on "Itchycoo Park" at 23". I will shortly review disc two to see if my claim of it being in mono is correct.PPS I can now confirm that the enirety of disc two is monophonic.
