Meshuggah - Nothing download album

Album: Nothing (Nuclear Blast; 2006) Artist: Meshuggah All rights to Meshuggah & Nuclear Blast Records.

Nothing is the fourth album by Swedish metal band Meshuggah, originally released in 2002. The album entered the Billboard 200 chart at number 165, slightly higher than the band's following effort, Catch Thirtythree. A last-minute decision to join 2002's Ozzfest tour forced the band to mix the album in two days and to master it in one. As a result, the album had its guitars and drums re-recorded for a remastered re-release in 2006.

Since its 2002 album Nothing, Meshuggah has switched from seven-string to downtuned eight-string guitars. Meshuggah has become known for their innovative musical style, complex, polymetered song structures and polyrhythms. After replacing drummer Niklas Lundgren with Tomas Haake in 1990, Meshuggah signed a contract with German heavy metal record label Nuclear Blast and recorded its debut full-length album, Contradictions Collapse. The LP, originally entitled (All this because of) Greed, was released on January 1, 1991.

Some of the songs are longer than the originals. The second disc contains live & official videos. Catalog number for the DVD is NB 1760-5. Manufactured in Germany.

Experimental Metal Meshuggah.

Sure, Meshuggah's 2002 release, Nothing, doesn't redefine artistic parameters- this band is not about innovation. Sweden's seminal metal amalgam has remained true to their ideology since forming in 1987, churning out beefy, intricate hard rock songs with off-kilter tempos, ample polyrhythms, and caustic vocals.

It’s for this reason one can say that Meshuggah’s 2002 release Nothing is the biggest landmark in their 20+ year career and is the album which put them on the map through the constant, unrelenting emphasis on heavy rhythm sections. The chaotic and sporadic nature of their previous full lengths and EPs catered toward a narrower, more thrash loving audience.

MESHUGGAH accepted, and the race was on to complete the new album. After pushing the limits of heaviness with Chaosphere, there was only one place left to go: even heavier. Proudly cold and emotionless, this concept album without a concept with seemingly ess vocals had the feel of a philosophical journey through life and death, not excluding the soul-gutting ponderations. Again, the praise was incessant.

Nothing - (nada en inglés) puede referirse a: Nothing, álbum de la banda sueca Meshuggah. Nothing, película dirigida por Vincenzo Natali. It was re-mastered for a new re-release with re-recorded guitars in 2006.
