Envy is the debut studio album by American band Eve's Plum, released on August 31, 1993 on 550 Records. Before it was released, the debut single, "Blue" was promoted on MTV, appearing on an episode of Beavis and Butthead. However, the single and album failed to chart. The second single "Die Like Someone" was released in a censored version the following year and also failed to chart.

Eve's Plum – Eves Plum was an American New York City-based alternative rock band, who recorded in the 1990s. The band was fronted by Colleen Fitzpatrick, Eves Plum released two albums and numerous singles on 550 Music/Epic Records, before breaking up in 1998. In 1991, Ben Kotch who played drums, and his twin brother Michael who played guitar, had been looking to start a band and needed a singer and bassist. Eves Plum toured independently throughout 1991 and 1992, the band signed a recording contract with Sony Records in 1992. Their debut album, Envy, was produced by Roger Greenawalt, the groups debut album failed to chart on the Billboard 200. The albums third single, I Want It All, became the single of their career to chart. It spent one week on the Modern Rock Chart at number 30 and it was also featured in the film The Next Karate Kid.
Produced by Roger Greenawalt, New York four-piece Eve's Plum debuted with their 550 Music release Envy. Lead singer Colleen Fitzpatrick is an engaging vocalist who is reminiscent of Debbie Harry and the Divinyls' Christina Amphlett. Musically, the band is power pop all the way from the starting gate and opener "Blue.
