Big Hit' is the fifth album from British EBM group Nitzer Ebb released by Mute Records on 27 March 1995, almost four years since its last release. The album included two singles, "Kick It" and "I Thought". Big Hit was the band's final release for Mute until its 2006 retrospective, Body of Work. Cherry Blossom" – 5:30. Living out of a Bag" – 5:41.

As the decade progressed so did Nitzer Ebb. From more dance-orientated pieces, and of course it's everyone's favourites 'Join in the Chant' or 'Let Your Body Learn' to name a few, the duo of Douglas McCarthy and Bon Harris proved a strong force continuing their progress.

Big Hit' is the less representative album of Nitzer Ebb, a very interesting EBM band which are next to Front 242 as the best in their style. It's not a bad album, it starts really good: 'Cherry blossom' is a very interesting song which presented us the new Ebb sound: distorted guitars which sound as electronics. Kick It' is more rock but really catchy song; 'I Thought' is a quiet ballad ending with explossive rock guitars; 'Floodwater' is also quite interesting and very catchy. BUT there're 2 things i dont like about this album.

It's much more of a rock album than the band had ever recorded before - for the accompanying tour, guitars were used on-stage for the first time - and Flood's return on production made for a further connection. Perhaps the oddest touch was on lead single "Kick It"; besides Douglas McCarthy all-too-clearly trying to ape Reznor's lyrical and vocal style, there's also guest guitar from, of all folks, Bad Brains' Dr. Know. The end result made for a somewhat indecisive note for the band to end their career on; while in ways the band showed continual progression. Singles from Big Hit. "Kick It" Released: 20 February 1995. I Thought" Released: 24 April 1995.
