Power And Glory Lyrics. Phil Ochs Lyrics provided by SongLyrics.

American singer-songwriter Phil Ochs (December 19, 1940 – April 9, 1976) wrote or recorded at least 238 songs during his brief career. Most of the songs which he performed he composed himself: they ranged in style from protest songs and topical songs to ballads and folk rock. In concert, Ochs sometimes covered songs made famous by other performers. In the case of studio recordings released during his lifetime, the album title and date of album release have been included. For posthumous releases and demo recordings, the approximate date of recording is shown as well. All the News That's Fit to Sing (1964) "One Way Ticket Home".

Album All the News That's Fit to Sing. Automation Song Lyrics

All the News That's Fit to Sing was a fit title for the debut album by a 1960s folk protest singer who some liked to call a "singing journalist. Recorded and released in early 1964, it was done at a time when Ochs's generation of young adults was getting more socially conscious and politicized. The Cold War had almost brought the world to the brink of nuclear war in the Cuban missile crisis, the Civil Rights Movement was heating up, and American military intervention in Vietnam was starting to rise from a grumble to a roar
