The tracks on this album are more structured with melody that makes you easily recognise the tracks on a second and third listen. I really believe the break they had between recording has served them well.

Now, with Pól Brennan returning to the fold and a lengthy US and European tour past them, Moya Brennan and clan revisit that particular soundscape that’s all their own. With a strong emphasis on newly composed songs, as well as striking songwriting and musical contributions from the next generation in the person of Aisling Jarvis, Clannad still have an edge when it comes to haunting, spectral shapes
